The founder of the worldwide Religious Science Movement, Ernest Holmes (1887-1960) was a uniquely gifted scholar with a vast command of the world’s spiritual philosophies. His inspirational books include Creative Mind, This Thing Called You, The Art of Life, The Essential Ernest Holmes, Creative mind and Success and 365 Science of Mind.
Ernest Holmes was a widely venerated spiritual teacher with a disarmingly simple message: Change your thinking, and you will change your life. There exists a creative law in the universe, Holmes reasoned, and it is available to each of us right now through our thought patterns. Holmes’s classic work The Science of Mind is the clearest and most complete explication of the spiritual psychology that he founded. It is an indispensable volume for anyone interested in how religious principles are at work in our daily lives.
To read Holmes is to experience the deft workings of one of the shrewdest spiritual minds of the past century—yet to marvel at the simplicity and power of his message.
The Science of Mind was first published in 1926. In 1938, it was completely revised and enlarged by the author, in collaboration with Maude Allison Lathem. The 1938 edition became a classic, and is now used worldwide as the standard teaching text and reference source for the Science of Mind Philosophy.
These lessons are dedicated to that Truth which frees man from himself and sets him on the pathway of a new experience, which enables him to see through the mist to the Eternal and Changeless Reality.
